I enjoy quantifying the unquantifiable. I take complex subjects with many inputs, influences and unknowns and develop coherent themes and frameworks to predict likely outcomes. This involves assessing the associated risks and rewards of possible actions to inform strategic decision-making processes.
My investment approach is based on fundamental and quantitative analysis of a variety of companies within the US equity market. Originally a student of value investing with a contrarian bent, my strategy has expanded over the years to include growth, momentum, and tactical plays within my broader investment focus. Specific attention is also given to the occasional US shale oil play as opportunities arise.
